[SOLDPress](https://www.soldpress.com) is designed to allow seamless integration with CREA's Data Distribution Facility™.


# Introduction

This user guide describes the usage of the SOLDPress plugin for WordPress.


# Getting Started

The first step in setting up your SOLDPress is of course installing the plugin itself. But before you do so, please check the minimum server requirements:

● An install of WordPress 3.0 or greater

● PHP 5.3.0 or greater

● MySQL 5.0 or greater

● The mod\_rewrite Apache module (for permalinks)

You should also check [WordPress’ minimum requirements](http://wordpress.org/about/requirements/).


# Introduction to Data Feed Synchronization

SOLDPress schedules data feed synchronization to occur nightly at 12:00 am. Our process chunks data from the CREA DDF Feed in by 100 items into an array. Once the data is all retrieved(extract) then we begin the the transform and load process.

SOLDPress default setting uses WP-CRON to automate and schedule DDF™ data feed synchronization. Using the WP-CRON method a cron job is triggered when somebody visits your website for the first time. WP-CRON is a psudo cron service that simulates normal cron-jobs. .

Under the WP-CRON option SOLDPress schedules data feed synchronization to occur nightly at 12:00 am. If nobody has visited your website at 12:00 am the scheduled job will not be executed.

SOLDPress also allows you to option to use UNIX and SOLDPress Cron Service.

Please Note : You may receive a 500 timeout error. A 500 error indicates that you php script has timed out. You might have increase the php script timeout in you php.ini file.


# Installation

1. Go to Plugins > Add New.
2. Clicking on Upload:
3. Use the browse button to select the plugin zip file that was downloaded, then click on Install Now. The plugin will be uploaded to your blog and installed. It can then be activated
4. Click Activate the Plugin.


# Configuring Your SOLDPress Plugin

1. Go to Settings > DDF Data Sync
2. Enter your Username and Password. Click Save Changes
3. Click the test connection button, this will test that you have successfully made a connection.
4. Click the Sync Options Tab and check the Sync Enabled -> Save Changes

# Activate Your SOLDPress Key

1. Go to SOLDPress -> About

1. Enter your license key
2. Click Save Changes.

**How does product activation work?**

Product activation is a software-based license management technology. The process verifies that your serial number is valid and that the software has been activated only on eligible servers. An activation request includes:

* The product information (such as domain name, serial number, and product code)

**I have a serial number but it doesn't work.**

Please verify that you entered your serial number and product key exactly as displayed in the email.

If so, then submit a request via our [Problem Form](https://m.me/314999428558770). Be sure to include the product name, your current serial number, and any error messages that you are receiving in your support ticket.

# Relator(tm) Analytics Section

This section enable you add DDF client analytics scripts.

DDF clients that integrate these scripts on their property details pages will provide valuable analytics data back to agents and brokerage owners. Integration of these scripts is mandatory for all National Shared Pool and National Franchisor Pool clients. For Member Website Feed destinations, these scripts are optional; however, members would benefit from implementation. Analytics information will be accessible in the CREA reporting dashboard.

# Widgets

[Widget](http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/) is a fancy word for tools or content that you can add, arrange, and remove from the sidebar(s) of your blog.


# SOLDPress Search Widget

The SOLDPress Search Widget displays a search form on the sidebar allowing users to easily search your site for listings on your site.

Here’s what the search widget looks like when it’s activated on a wordpress sidebar.

## Installation

1. Go to Appearance > Widgets.
2. Choose a SOLDPress Listing Search Widget and drag it to the sidebar where you wish it to appear.
3. To customize the SOLDPress Listing Search Widget features, click the down arrow in the upper right corner to expand the Widget's interface.
4. To save the Widget's customization, click Save.
5. To remove the Widget, click Remove or Delete.

# Shortcodes

A [shortcode](http://en.support.wordpress.com/shortcodes/) is a WordPress-specific code that lets you do nifty things with very little effort. Shortcodes can embed files or create objects that would normally require lots of complicated, ugly code in just one line.


# Listing

The **\[soldpress-listing]** shortcodes is used for easily displaying single listing by key value.

*Note: For filtering on more than key. Please use \*\*\[soldpress-listings]*\*\*.

# Listing Raw Output

The **\[soldpress-output]** shortcode is used for easily displaying a single field for a listing This can be useful when displaying information on slideshow.

# Search and Filtering

SOLDPress comes with a very powerful advanced filtering system. This can be very useful if you want show listings per agent or listings for an agency or show only waterfront properties.

SOLDPress Filtering is build using the RESO Data Dictionary Standard these data standards insure portability, eliminate redundancies and obtain maximum efficiencies for all parties participating in the real estate transaction.

The [DDF Documentation](http://crea.ca/sites/default/files/Data%20Distribution%20Facility%20Data%20Feed%20Technical%20Documentation_0_0.pdf) Appendix J – Property Details Payload details all fields that can be sorted.

The Syntax to Perform A Filter Request is

# SOLDPress Developer Framework

SOLDPress uses a responsive layout using Bootstrap v 2.3.1 with twelve columns. The template is divided in various sections: Header, Navigation,Sub Header, Main Content and Footer. All of the information within the each section is contained in a div with a class of "sp container".
